Name: Negretti & Zambra
notes: Henry Negretti (1818–1879) und Joseph Zambra (1822–1897) waren Optiker und Instrumentenmacher in London, die sich 1850 zu einer gemeinsamen Firma zusammen geschlossen hatten. Bereits zur ersten Weltausstellung 1851 erregten sie mit ihren Instrumenten Aufsehen und erhielten eine Preismedaille. 1854 wurden sie die offiziellen Fotografen der Cristal Palace Company in Sydenham und dokumentierten die Ausstellung in allen ihren Einzelheiten, zumeist in Form von Stereoaufnahmen.
