Järvamaa Museum is one of the oldest county museums in Estonia. Its photographic collection is mainly focused on Järvamaa county and it ranges from the beginning of photography to present. The highlights of the photographic collection are its two daguerreotypes, incl. the oldest daguerreotype that we know of so far, which was made in Estonia (ca. 1850, see PM_F22).
