Thank you for providing detailed information and images of the interiour of this case. Similar cases have been registered in England, France and in Norway. There are several elements in common. 1. case used outside anglo-american region, 2. oval form 3. MsonB, BREVETE, S.G.O.D printed on the case 4. a decorative paper in oval shape at the back of the plate: yellow (FAU032) and white in registered in Norway). These should be reasons to believe they all came from one manufacture, probably French, may be sold as a set including a case with an oval daguerreotype plate and convex protecting glass.
