Image description: Stereo view, study of a group of decorative items including an ornate wood fire-screen, depicting a boy in sailor suit with rural view behind him and Prince-of-Wales feathers above the scene. A fancy basket with handle is hung over one of the knobs of the screen. Behind is a mount with stuffed birds,ornate flower-vases on either side, plant in a pot to the left, behind several figures in glass domes. In the left foreground is another larger potted plant, three ornate ceramics along the front: a jar with lid, a mug and a two-handled jar. In the front is a carrying box for a cat (?) or kennel. A chair to the right has a decorative waste-paper basket beneath, a model ship and tortoise shell on the seat, The table behind is covered with a cloth, and has a pile of books , a pair of dark vases, and a large oriental ceramic jar.
