Remarks general
The stereo pair of images are hinged to fold in the middle. These are contained within a leather-covered card slip-case of a dark red-brown colour, with an incised line around the edges, 93 x 91 x 14 mm. The unusual housing may mean that they were originally intended to be seen in a Wheatstone viewer, later being joined for viewing in a Brewster type viewer.
