Portrait of man seated in unifom with decorations, holding a sabre in his right hand. Moustache and beard. His left arm resting on a table with a patterned tablecloth.
2014 (Digitalt Museum)
The backdrop has a seam to the right as seen in other Norwegian daguerreotypes. Assumed taken by the same photographer (Stelzner?). The blue tint on his decoration is due to overexposure.
Stelzner advertized in Morgenbladet newspaper in the summer of 1843 that he would be making daguerreotype portraits in Christiania (now Oslo).
