In 1993 this object was acquired for Museum Ludwig/Wallraf-Richartz-Museum from the photographer and collector Robert Lebeck with the support of the Kulturstiftung der Laender (Cultural Foundation of the German Federal States), the Stiftung Kunst und Kultur des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen, the Kultusministerium Nordrhein-Westfalen and the City of Cologne. Since 2005 it is part of the Museum Ludwig Photography Collection.
