Portrait of Martinus Nissen Drejer. A man wearing glasses sitting on a chair by a desk holding a feather pen. There are books on the desk.
Judging by the panels and window behind the backdrop on the left side, the picture may have been taken outdoors.
Martinus Nissen Drejer also appears on the right in this picture, in a similar setting and housing: NTNU-UB-F-EFT-031.
The backdrops in the two pictures look similarly folded.
