The daguerreotype is atypical and in a good condition of conservation. The case had an ambrotype placed on top of the daguerreotype.

Conservation: September 2015. Resealing: The old seal was in a very good shape, it was glued with Carboxy Methyl Cellulose and in some places repaired with Filmopast.
